Foreigners who want to open a business in Ukraine, obtain a work permit and a residence permit in Ukraine, must go through the following steps:
Step 1. Registration of a company with a foreigner director includes:
- Company registration;
- Company Stamp obtainment
- Legal address for a period of 1 year + postal services for a period of 1 year
- Notary Services:
- Signing of a power of attorney;
- Signing a charter.
Duration: 5 working days.
Step 2. Work permit for 1 person includes:
- Legal services for the issuance of work permits;
- Passport translation;
- Bank commission on payment of the state duty for obtaining a work permit;
Duration: 7 working days
Step 3. Obtaining Visa D at the consulate of Ukraine abroad (Visa D is not necessary for citizens of such countries: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan)
Step 4. Entry into Ukraine.
Step 5. Residence permit for 1 person includes:
- Legal services for the preparation and submission of documents for obtaining a residence permit;
- Official translation of the passport + notarization;
- Registration of a health insurance policy for up to 12 months;
- Official fees and charges;

Additional services:
1. Assignment of identification (tax) number includes:
- translation of a power of attorney (up to 400 UAH) or a notary authorization of a power of attorney;
- filing an application for the assignment of an identification (tax) number;
- creating a tax payer card
- The service of providing a legal address in Kiev or Kiev region for 1 year;
- Postal service (reception of postal correspondence and its issuance at the request of the client) of the company for 1 year.
In accordance with the legislation of Ukraine, the mandatory condition for registering a company in Ukraine – is the fact, that the director of a new company can only be a citizen of Ukraine or a person who has a permanent residence permit in Ukraine.
If you don’t have a valid director, we recommend using the nominee director service:
The nominee director will remain in his position until a work permit is obtained by a foreigner.
After that, the foreign citizen will replace the nominee director. Until the appointment of a director-foreigner, the nominee director cannot sign official documents, collect all documents and seal them.
This service can be provided only after a 100% advance payment of following services: obtaining a work permit and appointing a foreigner director.
4. The procedure for appointing a foreigner for the position of a director includes:
- Legal services;
- National tax;
- notarization of the protocol;
- tax notice of the change of director;
- submission to the employment centre of a copy of the contract of employment of a foreign resident.
Duration: 3 working days
5. Legal support of the client upon receipt of the D visa at the consulate of Ukraine.
At the request of the client, it is possible to provide additional services: accompanying the client during the procedure for obtaining a visa. (Possible legal support in English, German, Russian).
The service includes:
- Providing full information: the address of the Ukrainian consulate/visa center, opening hours, contacts: telephone and email, visa price.
- Consultation on the list of documents for obtaining a visa;
- Filling a visa application
- Making an appointment at the Ukrainian consulate/visa center.
- Informing the client about the readiness of the visa and the date of receipt of the work visa.
6. Pick up service at the airport.
At the request of the client we offer additional service: Meeting at the airport by an English-speaking employee.
The service includes:
- Meeting at the airport in Kiev (Boryspil airport, Kiev City airport).
- Assistance in resolving problems with the migration service of Ukraine at the border
- Arranging a SIM card of the Ukrainian mobile operator (100 minutes of calls within Ukraine are included + 5 GB of 4G Internet)
- Transfer from the airport to the hotel (apartment) in Kiev. (Accommodation is not included)
